The only reasons that I did not give this 5 stars is because (1) they must have changed the formulation recently so it is a white-ish colour instead of flesh tone, so I think there is less of the "smart tone" and (2) the plastic cap on this is prone to breaking /crumbling.

I love this sunscreen. I bought for a trip to Mexico in June of this year. You can imagine how intense the sun was there. I did not burn at all. It is as lovely as all the other ZO products. I now use a tiny bit daily after applying my normal morning ritual of ZO products. Love it!

Love this sunscreen - being of East Indian descent with a darker skin tone, I love how the Smart Tone blends in and matches my skin tone - no more chalky white film on my brown skin! Love it, and it works amazing!

Throw away your primer and use this as both primer and sunscreen. It is lightweight, really blends into the skin and is great sun protection. My only complaint is with the packaging - the plastic cover breaks easily (see photo) and it is hard to get all the product out. When the pump won't get it out, I cut off the top and use from there but it is only good for a couple days as the air oxidizes the product and it turns a bit orange. Even with those "issues", I love this product.

I absolutely love the ZO smart tone sunscreen SPF 50 - was never a wearer of sunscreen in my early days unfortunately, but now that I have found this, I wear it everyday - love that it has a bit of tint to it and blends in beautifully.

LOVE ZO, all there products are effective and worth the investment if you are looking for great skin. I use ZO sunscreen plus primer 365 days x 4ish years and absolutely love it. I don't require any makeup (due to my ZO skin care routine) on top of the sunscreen primer. I decided to try the ZO Smart Tone to see the difference. Smart tone has a higher SPF so I use this before outdoor tennis for extra protection. Like the sunscreen primer it feels nice on my skin. The Smart tone creates a dewy sun kissed look which is a nice bonus (I have fair skin). If I am having a special day I will apply sunscreen primer first and then add one pump of Smart Tone. I don't mix the two together before applying as I think that would remove the sun kissed look that Smart Tone creates.
