It is one of the only 1% retinols I can tolerate nightly without much dryness/ peeling. It has dramatically improved my smile lines and overall skin texture 10/10 recommend for a first time retinol user layered with a moisturizer or for your hard core users as a stand alone!

My daughter recommended Vivier products after obtaining samples at her doctor’s office. I first used the .5% retinol but then increased the dosage as the doctor recommended the 1% as I was older. I also started replacing my old products with Vivier’s skin care. I liked the sheerness and easy application of their products. I also liked the packaging as nothing was too bulky. Although i did not feel there was a difference, other than my skin seemed a bit shinier, not greasy just shiny, I then started getting comments from people asking what i was doing different as my skin seemed to be less wrinkled and a bit more toned and had a glow to it. I found this surprising as i have been using Clarins and/or Lancome products and i always thought that i was doing the best for my skin. I am thrilled to know that Vivier is Canadian. Good for us.

I am 50 years old and new to using retinol. I purchased the 1% and started using it once a week. I also use the exfoliant forte on other days. I have never had dry patches or any kind of reaction. After a few weeks it seems some of my forehead wrinkles are less visible. They are not deep to begin with.
